Dale A. Parkison

Dale was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but grew up in Yorktown, Indiana where he graduated High School in 1979. He graduated from Ball State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Dale is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. He is on the Board of Directors of several not for profit agencies including the Health Foundation of LaPorte, Inc., Unity Foundation of LaPorte County, Inc., LaSalle Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the LaPorte Park Foundation.
Dale and his wife, Betsy, have four children: Katie, Kelsey, Mackenzie and Gavin.

Bonnie S. Timm
Office Administrator
Bonnie is a lifelong resident of LaPorte. She graduated from LaPorte High School and studied Accounting at Indiana University, South Bend. Her employment with Parkison & Hinton CPA’s began in February, 1979 working for her Step-Father Al Hinton.
She maintains all billing, accounting and payroll for the Firm as well as technology and software integration. She performs bookkeeping and payroll tax services for many clients as well.
Bonnie spends her free time with her family and friends and enjoys any beach, yard work, reading and especially her new back-yard pool. She and her husband, Dennis, have an adult son Jarred. They all spend time sharing stories and memories of their son and brother Ryan.
Barbara L. Dent
Support Staff
Barbara was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana, where she graduated from Elston High School in 1968. She moved to LaPorte in 1973 and worked with a local family owned business until it was sold in 1999. During that time she also attended classes at Purdue University, North Central Campus, Westville, Indiana.
She returned to the work force in 2007 when she joined the firm of Parkison & Hinton, Inc., P.C, initially as part-time, which has since evolved into full-time. After retiring in 2018, she has graciously returned to part time employment during tax seasons for the last several years.
Barbara has two adult children, Allison and Justin, and one granddaughter, Vivian.
She enjoys reading, gardening and traveling to sunny destinations.
Stephanie Humpal
Staff Accountant
Stephanie was born and raised in LaPorte. After spending the last 15 years in Michigan, Tennessee, and most recently Ohio, she has returned to her roots. With nearly a decade of experience in the automotive finance industry at Ford Credit, Stephanie made the decision to transition to accounting.
She earned her BBA from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) in 2015, her MBA from Bowling Green State University in 2024, and is currently pursuing her CPA. During her time at EMU, Stephanie was an active member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, where she served as both Treasurer and Vice President of the Gamma Zeta chapter.
In the first half of her career at Ford Credit, Stephanie held multiple roles within the Leadership Development Program. Her last five years were spent as a Business Development Manager, overseeing more than 30 Ford dealerships in Northeast Ohio. This role provided her with invaluable experience in business performance analysis and developing strong communication skills to present findings to dealership owners and upper management.
Stephanie’s diverse educational and professional background, combined with her passion for people and numbers, gives her a unique perspective to support businesses and individuals in achieving their goals. Her leadership experience and commitment to lifelong learning lay a solid foundation for helping clients navigate growth and evolving needs.
Stephanie currently lives in LaPorte with her husband, Donald, and their young daughter, Lorelai. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors-fishing, camping, exploring-and traveling with loved ones.
